What were our challenges?
The client required an eCommerce website for uploading products, designs, and creations to create an eCatalogue for their prospective buyers.To prevent competitors from stealing or copying the designs, only registered and verified buyers should be able to access the site. The buyer can access the storefront only after the admin approves his registration.Additionally, the client wanted to create a lightbox for the registered buyer where the admin could create a lightbox and share only some of the links of his products with that buyer. After the expiration time has passed, the light-box will be deactivated automatically.
The solutions we offered
Based on the custom developments requested by the client, we created a single brand eCommerce store with restricted store access for registered, verified, and approved buyers.Buyer registration was read more made a closed process, where the registration form was shared with the admin for his approval and verification.Upon approving a user's registration, the administrator could create a lightbox and set expiration dates on product links. A notification was sent to the registered email address of the user. Clicking on that link shows the buyer the products that others have shared with him and allows him/her to search for any of the products that were shared with them.The solution did not include a buying process.
